Cut the ingredients

Cut the chicken into bite-sized chunks, slice the onion, chop the tomato, and mince the garlic and ginger.

Fry the ingredients

Add cooking oil to a heavy frying pan and fry the onions. Once they are cooked, add the garlic, ginger, and chicken and continue frying. Add the tomato and mash while frying.

Simmer the ingredients

Add water to 2 and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and add the curry mix in pieces. Once the roux has melted, simmer on low for another 10 minutes. Finish by adding butter.

Heap rice onto a dish and top with 3.
